MCRCC Chairman Election Information

Don Anderson officially resigned as our MCRCC chair at the Belfair December meeting.  Vice-Chair Nancy Brown announced an election meeting to replace Don for Monday, January 7, 2008.  The meeting will be at Alpine Way in Shelton.  Note – the January meeting is one week early for this month only.

The Mason County Republican Central Committee wishes to express our pride and appreciation for the commitment, hard work, courage and tenacity shown by our outstanding candidates in this election.  We are proud to stand tall beside the men and women of great character who represented the Republican values we hold so dear.  Thanks go to Jayni Kamin, Ben Ramsfield, Steve VanDenover, Gary Burleson, Shawn Donnelly, Marco Brown, Randy Neatherlin, Mark Shattuck and Mike McGavick.

We also appreciate the countless hours that volunteers spent working on behalf of our candidates, campaign managers, treasurers, phone-callers, showing visible support at street corners waving to passersby or attending community events.  We have the courage of our commitment and we must not forget that elections and majority parties go in cycles.  One election is part of a journey, not a final destination.

For the next two years, all citizens are encouraged to contact your elected civil servants and let them know what policies and issues you believe are important and why.  It will be especially important that our voices are heard by the minority elected Republicans at the state and federal level AND that they receive our support when they ask for our help.
